FreeKODA is a port/rewrite of Cateia Games' The Kings of the Dark Age (KODA), which is a turn-based strategy game with real-time battles.

Half of the source code needs to be rewritten, while the other half can be ported. The original game KODA will be released (code and media) under the GPL when the port matures.

The project has a forum and an IRC channel #freekoda on irc.freenode.net. FreeKODA has a SourceForge.net project page. We have a mailing list.
